David Friedman, founder and Chief Concept Officer of Epic Burger, attended the Culinary Institute of America and has worked in the foodservice industry for over 25 years. He has been an executive chef, nightclub and restaurant owner, corporate chef, research and development chef and a consultant to numerous restaurant chains and food manufacturers. After working in food labs and manufacturing facilities, and gaining an understanding of processed foods, Friedman knew that he needed to get back to his roots and start working with real food again. That was the beginning of an idea that would become Epic Burger.
Friedman has built his business on the idea that “Less is More,” and admires people that can “Create great symphonies with few notes.”
The entrepreneur says that one of the most satisfying achievements in his career is “having people thank me everyday for opening Epic Burger.” As for the future of Epic Burger, Friedman believes, “there is always room in the marketplace for something great.”
